FOOD MEDIA & BRANDING

A Major "primal section" (ha, chef talk)... of my life was working as a food stylist and food media consultant for several major brands.  Specifically, I had the great pleasure of working for the incredible Ree Drummond and her brand "The Pioneer Woman".  We met through home-school friends and shared a love of "bloody meat and Béarnaise", butterflies and babies.  This was the night we met and she snapped pics of my (now 13 year old) lilly poe for her blog.  a few weeks later, I was her "right hand Whoa-man" for the Bobby Flay Throw-down... and the rest is history.  We worked together for over five years and I got to experience so many wonderful projects and passions under her brand belt.  This season of my life birthed many beautiful opportunities and it was an epoch of my life that was busy, challenging and extremely rewarding!  

Working with Ree spurred many other opportunities to serve multiple brands, talents and projects.  During this season, I had the pleasure of filming 152 Food Network episodes, shooting 4 cookbooks and leading countless media projects. 
 I also completed my master's degree, had two more babies, opened a bed & breakfast.  ultimately, I ended up returning to education full-time to serve my alma mater
Oklahoma State University.   

But, my love for Ree & food media has never changed.  I learned so much during those years.  I also duplicated myself a bit and encouraged many of my former students to pursue careers in this industry.  If you or your team are looking for referrals in this area, please reach out.  I no longer actively work in this segment of the industry,
but I know many fabulous people who do!
